"Like the decor and the overall look. Convenient area to get in and out. Nice lobby area. But people can be loud going in and out of their rooms. It has to do with the layout and management doesn’t have control over that but it is what it is. Can disturb your sleep unfortunately. I would move the ping pong table away from the pool area as likely would have to retrieve a ball from there and move the foosball and large connect four to where the ping pong is now. "

"A unique stay at a unique historic property. We had a one night stay and enjoyed the property and the staff. The hotel is slightly dated but full of character. The staff was outstanding and friendly Enjoyed an afternoon at Cielos the on site restaurant with drinks and lunch on the patio. If passing thru Tucson again, Lodge on the Desert will be our stay. "

"Property was beautiful but the housekeeping staff caring for the room was poor. In the second day was not restocked coffee, etc tissues and lotion. Had to call the front desk to ask to be restocked. They didn’t remove the dirty glasses or trash left out daily and didn’t service our room until after 4pm due to towels not in stock. One evening we got back to get ready for dinner out around 430pm and our room had not been cleaned or changed. We had to get ready quickly and they never came...
