"We had a little problem with communication with the hotel before we arrived but the Yunos, the night shift service manager explained it clearly to us . They even did something courtesy us when we checked out. Ultimately it was an excellent hotel with good staff and care services. Highly recommend it to any one visiting Van. "

"Great location in the city center. Comfortable bed. The design is not exactly to my liking but it is cheap enough. So it would not be fair to compare to a more expensive hotel. The front desk person was a bit grumpy. Breakfast is large but not great. "

"The rooms were very nice, and the beds were comfortable. It's undergoing renovations right now and my guess is that it will be awesome to stay there after they are completed. My only complaint was the cigarette smoke smell in the non-smoking section. The manager did come by to explain that it was due to the ongoing renovations and provided a complimentary gift to us for the inconvenience. The staff was very friendly and willing to help out on anything. We would stay again if I came back to the...

"A hidden gem. Lovely, helpful staff, nice room of good size two comfortable lounge chairs and a balcony that is actually useful and of a good size. The breakfast was buffet and good. They also have a library with some English books. I did a book swap. We throughly recommend. "

"Lovely hotel with a gorgeous Turkish Hammam and pool in a convenient location. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, with many suggestions on places to explore. Most sites of interest can be accessed within walking distance. I would definitely stay there again. "

"Normalde 5 yıldız verebileceğimiz bir otel. Konumu güzel, otel çalışanları güler yüzlü ve yardımseverdi. Odalar da güzeldi yataklar gayet konforluydu. Fakat iş yemek kısmına gelince maalesef vasattı. Kahvaltı berbattı. Özellikle tabaklar bardaklar kaşık çatal bıçak hijyeni sıfırdı. Tabakların üzerinde yağ tabakası vardı resmen. Silinmiş yıkanmamış. Bu durum düzeltilmeli. Çünkü hijyen her şeyden önemlidir. İnsanların sağlığı söz konusu."

"There aren’t many hotels to choose from in Hakkari. Hotel Sibar is central, on street parking is available, the staff are helpful and some speak English. I’m not convinced that at £80 per night it is better value than other hotels in the Van or Hakkari region."
