Das Bequia Plantation Hotel liegt optimal am Ende des Belmont Walkway, am Beginn des Princess Margaret Trails zum gleichnamigenbenachbarten Strand, direkt am Meer. Das Hotel ist auf dem Gelände einer alten Kokosnuss Plantage angelegt. Das Haupthaus des Hotels war wohl auch das Haupthaus der Ppantage, wirkt auf jeden Fall so.Wir hatten eine Family Villa, freistehend in einer Gruppe von anderen kleinen Villen. Die Villa wirkte frisch renoviert und war modern ausgestattet. Sie verfügte über zwei Schlafzimmer, zwei Bäder, kleine Küche und eine Veranda, was für uns (2 Personen) überdimensioniert, aber sehr angenehm war. Die Bäder waren groß und hatten eine hochwertige, ebenfalls sehr moderne Ausstattung, mit Regenduschen und reichlich Pflegeprodukten. Alles wirkte neuwertig. Die Anlage hat einen eigenen kleinen Sandstrand mit Liegen. Nach 100 Metern im Meer kann man entlang der Küste wunderbar schnorcheln. Bar und Restaurant liegen etwas abseits neben dem Pool, direkt am Boardwalk. Abwechslungsreiche Küche mit eigenem Pizzaofen. Das Frühstücksbuffet könnte etwas vielfältiger sein. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Alles in allem für uns einer der schönsten Aufenthalte bisher in den Grenadinen.Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, insbesondere wegen der großen und schicken Villa.

Bequia Plantation hotel is an oasis in port Elizabeth. The beaches and turquoise waters are amazing. Great swimming and snorkeling. Amazing restaurant choices along the sea wall On-site fantastic daily breakfast and service was very good. Recommend to those wanting to get off the beaten path and experience Bequia - a jewel in the eastern Caribbean.

From the moment I got off the ferry from mainland, there was transportation waiting for us. We were greeted with drinks and our bags were already in our room. I loved breakfast and dinner and the rooms were large and a villa with a kitchenette. It’s on the beach and includes water activities. We walked everywhere to other beaches and restaurants throughout the day. Staff was amazing and accommodating and I will be back again!

Front desk staff were wonderful. Upon arrival, there was only a limited piece of toilet paper on the roll. Morning, Called front desk to get some . Took 3 hours to get it from housekeeping. At the dinning room, Asked for a muffin and banana bread, was put in a bag. The cashier walked away without a word, had us waiting and return without a word or apology. Very awkward moment. Again, front desk staff, 2 young ladies were excellent. Great ambassadors.

Would definitely recommend. Our mini getaway was made perfect by the friendly staff and beautiful hotel. We loved the complimentary breakfast and all our meals. We are dog lovers but did not enjoy dining with the ones that came to each meal. Overall a very inviting and welcoming beach hotel. We loved our stay and look forward to our next visit.

The staff was courteous and the location was excellent. However, there was a need for improvement in terms of cleanliness, as we experienced stains on our sheets. However, the staff promptly rectified this issue after being notified.

The beach view king suite was great, as were the grounds. The beach location is perfect. However I've given this just 3 stars after much thought:. 0.5 star docked for hygiene - the hotel appears to do nothing about the feral dogs that wander the property including the main restaurant, and often pester guests under the table and fight /bark loudly. There are many other restaurants within walking distance along the boardwalk and all these are effective at removing the dogs. The hotel mgmt appear not to care. 0.5 star docked for restaurant: breakfast is a 'hot' buffet or usual cold meats/fruit/cereal, but the 'hot' food is left in heated pans that only keep the food warm at best. 3 times a week they have a 'themed' all you can eat menu -again just warm buffet food and expensive. 1 star removed for the swimming pool steps - which I would rate as the most dangerous I've seen in years. There is no handrail (the average guest is 'mature' and would benefit from a rail); the steps are sharp edged and not defined by different tile pattern or colour; worst is that the steps are not consistent - if you stay left then its just a slope down (about 15cm wide), if you stay right the drop from the last step is about 80cm! There was absolutely no local hotel, trip or even spa info in the room. If paying by card check they enter the correct currency (not US$ and charge EC$ amount!) I had this happen twice. If you just want to relax, the hotel is in a great location

We were well taken care of from check in to check out. Zamora and her staff provided superior customer service and accommodated our every need. The restaurant staff weee pleasant and attentive and the Garden Villa was well maintained and clean and the cleaning staff were always pleasant. The pool was clean and bar server came around to see if we wanted drinks/food. The hotel location is perfect with access to restaurants, bars, town, shops and grocery stores just a short walk away. Well done to the entire team!!!

Pros: -Great location in Bequia -Good size room -Working A/C, hot water, wifi, tv channels, small fridge Cons: - Felt unsafe (housekeeper walked into room without even knocking) - Would not extend checkout to noon citing their policy (check in is 3pm) - Breakfast options could be increased - Staff friendliness and hospitality - average - Could use an iron and ironing board in the room

Most of the staff were really helpful. A few things- the facility is not handicap friendly. Also the facility could have pest control spray the room often. There were a ton of mosquitoes, catapillars (even in the bed) and even spiders in the room throughout the stay. The rooms are nice and spacious with comfortable beds. The shower did not drain propertly, so it flooded the bathroom, into another nearby room. The food was fair, not many choices to choose from; however, the ocean view and beach outside the restaurant had gorgeous views.
