"My stay started off on the wrong foot. When I arrived at the hotel, my room wasn't the one I had reserved. I also asked about parking, but there was no valet service and no one offered to help or provide any guidance. Breakfast was another disappointment. I don't understand the purpose of having a breakfast card when the selection was so limited. "We absolutely loved our stay at that hotel! Live the baseball theme since it's so close to Wrigley, but it's also very centrally located and within walking distance of tons of bars and eateries. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable and the complimentary tea and coffee were much appreciated. We will definitely stay here again on future Chicago visits!"

"It’s one of those hotels that looks better from pictures than in person. The staff was nice and timely but the property itself wasn’t maintained well. The bathroom was in pretty crappy condition and the towel rod that was installed was set up so that only about half of it kept the water in the tub, water went everywhere when we showered and times 5 with my family. "building is outdated, with carpet stains, thin towels/linens, etc but staff was friendly and the free hotel shuttle was very convenient and easy to use/find. i would make two suggestions for improvement: 1) the shades in the rooms let light in on the sides; my room was facing a giant neon lit-up billboard so it let a lot of light in still; maybe curtains would help? and 2) the hvac unit and thermostat did not operate great as the supply air is located near the thermostat and the room felt much...
