"This is a pub with 12 rooms behind it in another building. A courtyard separates them. My room was of modest size and very clean. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. It has no parking lot; you have to pay in a public parking nearby. If you don’t want to move your car, there are two good pubs across the street for dinner. "Exceeded expectations. Very good staff. Excellent room. Particularly good bed and bed linen. Excellent ensuite bathroom. Beautiful location. Quality breakfast. Very very good lamb cutlets for dinner. Very good local Lord Lucan beer. Thoroughly enjoyed a sadly short stay."

"The hotel is very picturesque and characterful. The room was well appointed and decorated. You can eat downstairs in the pub and there was a good menu choice and a range of ales and lagers. Our food was very tasty. Breakfast options are limited. "

"Nice place to stay when visiting nearby towns, very spacious apartment which made for a very relaxed feel. Pleasant village with pub below. Handy having a kitchen as food options are limited. Noise from the pub wasn't too bad but it was quite noisy from the kitchen below the kids room, which had music on loud! We had to put kids to bed in the other room then move them back in later in the evening. "
