"I've tried several dog friendly hotels in Pismo/San Luis Obispo while visiting my daughter at Cal Poly. Hands down, Edgewater is the best for our needs. They don't charge and extra dog fee. They have suites with full kitchen so I can make home cooked meals for my college daugther. Easy access to the beach. Just cross the street and you're there. Breakfast and afternoon snacks served. The rooms are nothing fancy, but most dog friendly places aren't. Everything works well and was clean. Surrounding area is very busy with surfers and beach visitors parked nearby. "
