"My stay was just ok. It was a 4 star hotel but i felt like an entry level one. I was on the 14th floor and my window view was facing an interior wall. My shower didn't have any body wash in it, the beds weren't that comfy either. The lobby was really nice and the staff were friendly. The best thing about it was the location. It was only steps from Big Ben, the bus stop and 5 min walk to subway. For the price i think i would choose another hotel next time though. Just my opinion."

"I had to walk up the stairs as I can not use the lift the staff in the stripe T Shirts where fantastic with me helping me walk up 7 flights of stairs . I did request a lower floor but they didn’t get the message . It was keeping me fit . Absolutely loved the hotel they charged £200 deposit for the family room . I did receive it back .my favourite hotel in London . Now to how I can get to the rooftop . Fantastic. "

"It was our first visit to London and we were both very happy and satisfied with the CitizenM Bankside! "The staff at the Hotel were outstanding. Those who stand out are the Bar manager, the concierge, the guest check in staff. My daughter and I were staying for 3 nights, we found it necessary to change rooms. The first room they gave us had no "windows" as they were frosted over. "My room was small, even by London standards, it smelt so fresh of paint I was feared to touch the walls in case it was still wet! A lot of the hotel was still waiting on the upgrade but the lifts worked ok. The shower had 2 temperatures and not built for the cuddly figure! The bed is v low so look out if you have mobility issues. The continental breakfast was toast, beans , boiled egg, muesli and yogurt and cereals I didn’t recognise plus fresh fruit. "This place is a great compromise between a hotel and hostel when it comes to price and amenities.
