"Another great stay at Ameristar, affordable, good food and beautiful pool/hot tub. A high quality property within a nice area to explore, free shuttle bus through Black Hawk and Central City allows you to Casino hop and explore the area. If you run short on funds check out Bull Durham, genuine old vegas local vibe with .75 cent dom beers. $1.50 chili dogs. Ameristar added late nite bar bites to the sports book, great move as it used to be hard to find something hot to eat after hours"

"The hotel was clean and updated. The check-in process was easy and efficient. The flooring was hardwood and they had clean odor free dog-friendly bedrooms. The breakfast was free and the pillows were very comfortable. They had a pool and play room for kids, were very close to the iron mountain hotsprings and had a shuttle picking people up for skiing at sunlight mountain resort. My only issues were that it was hard to reach the front desk by phone and the room that I booked had a door to an...

"We came as a group to this property and really enjoyed that they had a lot of different activities for everyone including a spa, recreation classes and a some workout equipment in addition to all the hot springs. "
