"Great location. Easy walk to train/bus. Cool medieval/castle property. Nicely furnished. Small but comfortable room. Ensuite bathroom very nice and all immaculately clean. Host/owner is very friendly. I ordered the light breakfast which was excellent in a beautiful dining room. There is also a very pretty back courtyard. I was able to store luggage for the day."

"A lovely old Scottish building, full of charm and character which is sadly lacking in modern multi-chain hotel groups. The staff were all absolutely lovely - very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, equipped with tea/coffee facilities, and a well-stocked bathroom. "This is a great place to stay for a night or longer. The host is fantastic! She even remembers everyone’s name! The house is spotless and has beautiful views from large windows. Her breakfasts for guests are epic! The castle is located a short walk, unfortunately up, to the top of the mountain. There is a paved walking trail that leads you to restaurants, bats and shopping. We had a wonderful time staying there in those comfortable rooms!"

" Pub hotel where we no pub food or drink have was very nice there was one downside though and that was Pepe being gobbled by Colin in the middle of the night as the camping bed supplied was stationed by the door where Colin could’ve entered from and Pepe found this very traumatic Keef had nice time in the toilet which was fuelled by our outing in the local town whereby we got a cracking offer in the local pizza express whereby a few mistakes from the waiter who was very well mannered led to us...
