"Location was ideal! Walking distance to shopping, restaurants, rentals, and food mart. The gondola was only steps away from hotel doors that takes you straight to slopes. They have outdoor fire pits, and snow area for kids where they can sled or just play in the snow. They also have a heated pool and jacuzzi. We had a 2 bedroom that was extremely spacious. "A good place to stay since it is close to the gondola. Also, you can walk to restaurants. The property has an outdoor jacuzzi. Parking was fine. The room was fairly big, had 2 queen bed, refrigerator, micro, coffee-maker, TV. The electrical plugs on the wall didn't work very well, the button kept turning off, had to hold it for brewing coffee or take the pot to an other outlet.The shower curtain could use a cleaning."

"The front desk team was amazing!!! I had to stay one night at a different hotel who would not allow me store my luggage prior to checkin and Alphenhoff stored it for me even the night I didn’t stay there and then brought my ski bag to my room for me when I checked in there. The staff is incredible (and the location is excellent). "

"I’ve stayed here twice this season. A few things I would adjust. All the pillows are like an inch thick I think they should throw all of them away and get real pillows. Also they give you very thin blankets and it’s cold in the rooms. So I had to aft for a comforter and luckily they had one. As far as nice staff they deff are very nice. "Really enjoyed staying at one of the cabins at Convict Lake Resort! The whole area is so peaceful, and the cabin itself was beautiful and well-designed on the inside, with all the amenities we needed. The heating worked especially well (it was chilly out). The trails all around the property were great for walking the dog and getting some fresh air before going skiing, and Mammoth Mountain is only 15-20 min away."
