"We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay which has a private bath and was near Denali. The lady at the office was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and has everything we needed. The bed wasn't very comfy, but that is a subjective thing. The walls between units were thin, so we turned on our white noise (phone) to sleep. They weren't loud, but we could easily hear them. "The cabins were excellent. Homely, high spec, detached with parking out front. Mike the Owner would have picked us up from the train station if we’d asked and dropped us there once leaving, although it was only a 9 minute walk. The cabin had heating, a ceiling fan, two large double beds, a kitchenette and great shower in the bathroom. There was a rocking chair plus table & 2 chairs in the room too. "The owners have a lovely property with three cabins. Lots of woods in a peaceful setting. Sitting on the front porch is relaxing with a view of the mountains. We even saw the Aurora Borealis. The cabin we rented was clean and had a full kitchen (no dishwasher) and 2 queen beds. The location is convenient to Denali without the traffic. Healy is a small town with a few good restaurants, a small grocery store, and gas stations. There are also Denali flightseeing companies in Healy. We would stay...

"It was close to Talkeetna and everything we needed. I felt like I was in a 4 star hotel and the bed was more comfortable than mine at home. Jana was very gracious and left water, beer and snacks in the fridge. The only thing we missed was a bigger coffee pot. Would recommend this cabin if you are staying in Talkeetna."
