"The staff was superb. We, having been in France for 3 weeks prior to our arrival had quite a bit of laundry. The staff, took care of this for us at our arrival and we received our clean folded clothes the next day. Nothing beats this location as the rear of the hotel puts you right in the center of a pedestrian street lined on all sides with cafes and restaurants as well as the entry to the Chateau Amboise. "Excellent hotel in Tours with an ideal location, mins walking to the train station and the center if the old town. There are tons of restaurants and shops nearby. The room and is spacious and well equipped. The shower room and toilet are seperated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. "

"Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à l’Hôtel Grand Monarque à Chartres. L’accueil est chaleureux et le personnel très agréable. L’hôtel est charmant et bien situé. La seule remarque concerne les couloirs, qui étaient légèrement frais en hiver, mais cela reste un détail mineur comparé à l’ensemble de l’expérience.
