"Super friendly and helpful staff on reception, easy parking, room great. Service in restaurant not brilliant though, food ok but staff seemed grumpy, especially at breakfast."

"Fabulous night sleep, the most comfy of all beds, lovely breakfast and great service. Only gave 4 stars as parking is limited and car parks locally are more expensive when parking for 3 days! "

"Lovely stay as always..we had a twin room in an annexe off the main building, Cosy, with very comfy beds and also very clean Helpful, friendly staff and delicious breakfast too. Xmas decorations made it feel very festive! Central position in the middle of High Street was great. Will definitely be back & would recommend! "

"A lovely hotel, room was fantastic, everything we needed, very clean, very spacious, we could of had our room made up every day but opted out, food was excellent, the only comment I'd give was that they need more staff at breakfast time, they were lovely, very helpful & friendly but seemed to be very stretched. Apart from that no complaints whatsoever. If we're ever that way again, will definitely stay there & also reccomend to our friends & family."

He even came to find us when our room was ready early. A very old building full of character and squeaky floorboards but that just added to its charm. "

" We stayed in the wagon for two nights which was absolutely fantastic. It was in a beautiful, peaceful, natural, romantic setting. A real treat, it was cosy, warm, understated luxury. The food in the restaurant was amazing and the service 10/10. We walk to the village pub and had a wonderful lunch. The house was quiet and relaxing with drinks and nibbles served all day and night. Overall it was an expensive weekend but worth every penny. Can’t wait to visit The Pig again. "
