"This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at. The design and functionality was unwatched. We had a personal onsen that was better than pictured and the closet and entryway provided lots of storage to keep our suitcases out of sight. I cannot reccomend this place enough. The traditional Japanese breakfast was incredible and beautifully presented. Place is within walking distance of many restaurants and Lake Kawaguchi. "A great hotel with a wonderful history. It is an old fashion hotel with modern amenities. Lovely views of Mount Fuji and the lake from inside and outside the hotel. The Japanese style breakfast was the best! The staff were fantastic! A very pleasant stay. "

"Love the view of Mount Fuji from certain rooms and at the ryokan compound on a clear day. A little tricky getting to place using navigation online map but you will get there eventually. Breakfast is value for money. Great service."
