"Cold room "

"The rooms were huge, spacious and very comfortable. heating and cooling options were great. The lobby and bar areas were done up beautifully for Christmas. We arrived at 2.30pm and they wouldn’t let us check in until 3pm which was a bit annoying. Many of the lamps in the room didn’t work which made reading in bed hard as the room was very dark. Also, the Wotif listing said there were laundry facilities, which we were counting on, but when we enquired there are NO laundry facilities on site and...

"This was a work trip , the caravan was clean and the facilities were ample for my needs , do take your own towels , but bedding was clean and the bed very comfortable , the caravan stayed warm I didn’t use any of the club facilities so can’t comment. Overall it was great for what I needed "

But everything is what you get for the price, I appreciated the shopping center with a McDonald's next door. "We stayed in the hotel to attend a Christmas party at another venue therefore did not eat so can not comment on the food. It is an old hotel in an old building. Yes it is a little quirky, its full of character and it is showing its age a little. Its in a great location. I can not fault the attitude and enthusiasm of the staff and I do believe it is good value when you consider the cost of other hotels in the immediate proximity. We would stay again. "
