I had a single, ensuite room which was great as a solo traveller, not always this option at some hotels. Gary and James were very welcoming, cleanliness was excellent and a great breakfast. "The hotel is in a great position, less than five minutes walk from Lynton centre, has fantastic sea views and also looks down over Lynmouth. It is also right beside the funicular railway and even has its own entrance by the top. Our room wasn't the biggest but it was comfortable and being twin aspect had great views. There is an honesty bar and interesting public areas. There was even an EV charging point in the hotel car park. All in all a very pleasant stay."
