"The room was thoughtfully appointed (light switch for main overhead lights right by the bed which you don’t find nearly as often in hotel rooms as you would think, a desk that swivels out for dining, etc), the room was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. I had everything I needed to be comfortable including use of the water station in the hallway for chilled or room temp water. That was a really nice amenity. "Loved how close it was to everything in downtown Chicago, and the Magnificent Mile. The only reasons for a 4 instead of 5 star, were petty minor - the pool was smaller than the pictures made it look (it's just a lap pool), and the "breakfast available" wasn't much to speak of. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice, and the hotel was close to everything we were going to - when lots of restaurants, so we were able to just walk to most things.
