Hotel Independent di Earlewood

"My wife and i spent one night on our way back home from a trip in North Carolina. The minute you step into the lobby you realize how special of a hotel is in the heart of downtown Columbia. The staff went out of her way to get us in a room with a view. It was a Sunday night stay and not crowded so they moved us to Room 201. I highly recommend this room. The complimentary breakfast was two different types of quiche plus your normal bagels and such and they were both excellent! Restaurants are...

"My room was dirty. My sheets had cigarette holes and burns. My sheets and pillow cases were dirty looking.I woke up with Three bedbugs bite on my elbow. I then told management and they said we don't have bedbugs and walked off. No vinding machine. No restaurant within walking distance. Management walks straight in your room in the morning without knocking. And most of all the rooms is not worth asking price."

"This is a beautiful Inn in the heart of Columbia, SC. The location is convenient to downtown. It was clean, the bed super comfy and a lovely room and home. I'd definitely stay here again. "
