"Bathroom was very small. . . .no Kleenex. Good coffee! Knowing the story behind the sale and rehab of the motel. . .it is nice to see this type of accomodations so close to the lake and one of our favorite dining places. There is still room for upgrades and I am sure that will come along with the success of the property. Yes we will stay there again. . . and we only live 15 miles away!! PS the bed was GREAT!"

"The hotel is old and historical. In its youth I imagine it was gorgeous! Unfortunately, old things take a lot of upkeep and I’m not sure this hotel gets enough. The vibe is cool but the floors are very squeaky and loud. I heard the people in the room above me until late in the night. Because the hotel backs up to a large hill, the trash pick up and recycling is in front.
