"We had such a delightful stay at this lovely hotel - a beautiful setting, extremely comfortable rooms and public spaces, and exceptionally attentive, helpful, and friendly staff. We felt warmly welcomed and cared for from the moment of arrival to our departure. Breakfast was also delicious, and the sound of the river rushing by outside our window and the dining room was heavenly. My wife and I were looking for a base to stay for 11 days in the Perigord / North Dordogne to allow us to explore the area and found this fantastic "petit chateau" on the outskirts of Thiviers.
