"We stayed here for two nights and felt cosy even in the storm which started the night we checked in. I was bit concerned for the heating and facilities for it being a one room lodge with what seems not the most cold resistant insulation around windows and doors. "A bit dated and tatty in places and breakfast is very basic. But a very comfy bed with clean crisp sheets and towels. Good nights sleep at the back of the property on the 2nd floor. "What an absolutely amazing place stayed 6 nights with my wife that needed a nice break to take her mind off chemo treatment . From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. The pub part is amazing friendly staff great beer and food the locals are so friendly to just loved this place . The pods are amazing with lovely views of Exmoor clean warm and just lovely. I will be back soon thats for sure also breakfast is included 😋 "
