"Have stayed in this hotel several times and am never disappointed. The hotel is in an excellent location and is always very clean. I also appreciate how close it is for walking into the town. I would like to mention that the staff were once again very friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. I plan to go back to Oban soon and I know this will be the hotel I use again next time."

"I was initially a bit worried about noise from the very busy road outside, but the double glazing was excellent and I never heard any traffic at all. My single room was clean, comfortable, well equipped and had an excellent shower in the ensuite. My only slight niggle was the lack of BBC1 and BBC2 on the TV (despite me reinstalling the channels). However, what makes this B&B stand out is Morven, the landlady. She couldn't do enough for me when my car broke down and is an absolute star. She is...

"Ensuite was across the hall and shared, toilet down the hall - not what I was expecting and floor a bit rickety underfoot. Actual room was good with plenty of space and a view of the bay and across Oban. Easy walking distance to all Oban facilities - train, ferries, buses, shopping, restaurants and pubs. "

"Hotel has been refurbished in parts. Our room was small but the bed was so comfortable. Small things need to still be addressed- toilet seat not fixed firmly, flickering light in bathroom not fixed. Staff didn’t seem to be focused on customer care as one fellow was on his phone the whole time when in reception. Service at bar was very disappointing. Outside entry was dangerous in wet weather. "

"Ett äldre mysigt litet hotell. Vi hade tur som fick ett rum på 3:e våningen för det finns ingen hiss. Litet rum men rent och mycket skön säng. Toppen med badkar som vi passade på att nyttja. Vi åt frukost sista morgonen och den var god och väl tilltagen, dock ganska dyr. Ägaren jätterar och charmig och serviceminded. Läget perfekt. Vi saknade fri Wi-Fi men ett ställe nära (LuLu) hade bra uppkoppling så en drink och lite surfing blev bra."
