Staff who checked us in and out were also welcoming and friendly. One thing that was concerning were the zionists flags in the nearby area, so safety was in question. "This is the perfect spot for National Park vibes. Check-in was easy. Rooms are large with everything you need. Bathroom was clean and modern. Bed was comfortable. There is no a/c but windows open and there was a fan. It is an easy walk into town where there are options for food and supplies. Short drive to the park too! We loved staying here and wished we had more time. Would recommend this to anyone who wants a simple, quiet, easy stay. "

"View from the house is beautiful especially sunrise in the morning. Walking distance to Hilo downtown. Property is at decent conditions. No elevator then if you don’t mind to carry luggages upstairs. "
