"If you care about your health, do NOT stay in this so called "hotel" which is a number of rooms on part of one floor of an old dirty, moldy building. First, we were charged extra for 2 hrs early check in. Very very noisy. So called elevator was a small metal box with only half a door. The other half was missing. It got stock one time. "Great family run hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was a great way to start the day. The location near Tahrir Square was great for exploring Cairo. I walked to the Egyptian Museum. Plenty of restaurants and cafes in the area. They offered to hold my bag after checkout so I could catch the overnight train without carrying it around all day. Very convenient and no issues. I was very happy with my choice of this hotel for five nights."

"It’s a nice hotel. Clean. Near the airport and just a short drive from many local activities. The building is relatively new. The restaurant is basic and serviceable with very comfortable seating. It’s a pretty quiet place, which I liked. It’s just a couple of blocks away from the more active streets. Like with a lot of Egyptian construction there is a lack of attention to detail which is not a big deal, but something to note - chipped finishes, strange placement of the bathroom mirror, shower...
