"Generally a great property and wonderful beach.For the beach towels one has to walk up to the pool area to get and return towels which can be a small hike in the hot sun. Great Thai restaurant and service. Dayana and Brassarie were great restaurants. However it always took time for the wait staff to get your order. You had to wave them down for additional service and to obtain your bill after you were done. None of these issues would deter me from returning."

"The apartment we booked smelled stinky. Fortunately, we were able to switch to bungalows. It was also dirty, never cleaned during our stay. We only got bottled water on the first day, there was no kettle in the room and we never got it even though we asked for it. The bed had sheets but no sleeping sheets. We did get it the next day by asking again. Refrigerator absolutely terribly dirty with Geko feces everywhere. The staff were very friendly but somehow indifferent to doing their job well."

"If you like closeness to nature, this the place for you. Squirrels, birds and monkeys visited our balcony during our stay. The glass walled villa offers amazing view of the forest in all four directions but if you prefer privacy, draw the curtains, which we didn't have to use. "The villas at Lavanya are beautiful and very well maintained. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment with pool. The apartment was quite spacious elegantly built and furnished, with full kitchen and washer dryer. The service was awesome!
