"If you like closeness to nature, this the place for you. Squirrels, birds and monkeys visited our balcony during our stay. The glass walled villa offers amazing view of the forest in all four directions but if you prefer privacy, draw the curtains, which we didn't have to use. Given the location, expect some ants, mostly in the bathtub but they don't bite or bother us. The adorable resident dogs do bark intermittently at night so bring ear plugs if necessary. "Absolutely fantastic stay at Ambong Pool Villas. My wife and I visited for our honeymoon and stayed in the Kemoja villa. It was absolutely exceptional and the staff made us feel so welcome from the minute we arrived. Cannot fault anything during our stay. "The villas at Lavanya are beautiful and very well maintained. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment with pool. The apartment was quite spacious elegantly built and furnished, with full kitchen and washer dryer. The service was awesome! The only issue I had was that the master bathroom had no door and the toilet in it had glass doors. And that was a major inconvenience for us. Except that, I liked everything about this place!"

"Great villa with three en-suites in a great location near Pantai Chenang beach, shops and restaurants. Complimentary drinks and pot noodles provided in the villa which was a nice touch. There is a private small pool, with towels provided. Perfect for families."

"I am rating this three star only because the hotel staff worked really hard to remedy all the problems we faced other wise this would have been one star. We had reserved a three bedroom apartment for two nights, but everything went wrong from the start, from a non working parking gate key to a broken AC in one of the bedroom. "We loved our stay in this lovely peaceful villa! The villa was beautiful and was everything we hoped it would be. The staff was quick to answer any questions with a quick response. The check in was very easy. The house was very clean, and the service was above and beyond!"

"Very nice resort in Langkawi. Eventough there were lots of people at the breakfast, there were always free sun beds by the pool. Especially by the rock pool. We saw 2 types of monkeys during our 4 days stay and they really steal peoples food from balconies."

"Generally a great property and wonderful beach.For the beach towels one has to walk up to the pool area to get and return towels which can be a small hike in the hot sun. Great Thai restaurant and service. Dayana and Brassarie were great restaurants. However it always took time for the wait staff to get your order. You had to wave them down for additional service and to obtain your bill after you were done. None of these issues would deter me from returning."
