"Where to start, this Ryokan was spectacular. The hotel is beautiful in its traditional style with extremely friendly staff who couldn't have done more. The hotel is a nice ten minute walk from the main area but offer free transfers from the hotel to the onsens. We never used it because the walk was so pleasant. The onsen they provide is lovely with an indoor and outdoor area, the traditional set meals they have was equally brilliant. We will absolutely come back here in the future!"

"This hotel is beautiful, extremely clean and attention is paid to every detail. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room which was a wonderful experience. The tatami beds were so fluffy and comfortable. They provide robes and slippers so you can visit the 7 hot spring bath houses in the village. Breakfast was also very good. It’s pricey but well worth it for a one of a kind experience!"

".Kinosaki Onsen, the town, was celebrating it's 1300th year as an onsen town in 2025! The other guests were Japanese, but our host, Odie, spoke perfect English and explained everything very well. .Our group had 2 rooms. Both rooms were large traditional Japanese rooms (toilet/sink area, but no bath/shower in the room--onsen town!). VERY clean and stylish with a nice view of the main river street. Kotatsu sunken seating area, and a separate dining table area with floor chairs with backs. There...

"Wonderful stay. Friendly, professional and accommodating staff from the moment we drove up to the property to when we depart. The staff even helped to sort out our luggage delivery to the next accommodation in another city. Our hostess Matsuri was sweet, polite and gracious.
