"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"I stayed at this property for one week in mid-October 2024 and was fully satisfied with my stay. I was first struck on entering by its cleanliness - the condition was immaculate. The house is well laid out and the kitchen has all you need to settle in and take care of all your culinary needs. The bedroom I used was spacious and the bed was very very comfortable. "Our apartment had everything and more that we needed to enjoy our stay. It had a well equipped kitchen in order to cook a variety of meals. The lounge and bedroom areas were comfortable, and the bathroom had a spacious shower unit. There was also had a parking space right next to the door. Will be booking again!"

"Had a good pre Christmas stay . The hotel is a bit cold so you may need a few layers to keep warm , the weather was really bad this weekend so that didn’t help. Our bedroom no 15 was lovely and hot. Food was just ok with only 4 options for evening meal that stayed the same 2 nights on the run. Bar prices aren’t bad. Wonderful staff and parking at £6 a night. Steep stairs at the side or a ramp at the front. Really steep staircase at the back leading from the car park. "
