The room would have been ok for the 1 night that we stayed, but the bin in the bathroom had not been emptied and contained used toilet roll and tampons.

Reservation was cancelled by hotel for no reason. No satisfactory explanation was given as to why this occurred. Had to get Expedia involved. Desk agent took a phone pic of cancellation but didn’t print it out. They wanted me to pay the hotel directly for the room. Nothing added up. After calling Expedia we were able to check in again but this really made the whole stay feel awkward. It also didn’t help that the room we were given was in the basement and had no windows. The pictures on Expedia were not at all accurate.

Advert said parking but was an additional £20 very noisy, rooms were tired and poor quality. Bed uncomfortable. Wouldn’t stay again

The Axiom Park Hotel is excellent value for money. It is extremely affordable for an aparthotel and the quality of the rooms is as nice as much more expensive aparthotels. I stayed in the executive suite and the room was clean and comfortable, the amenities were new, and I was supplied with a kettle, fridge, microwave and dishes. The only thing not supplied that I could have wanted was a stovetop, but the microwave was fine. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the location was great with a bus stop just outside the door and the train station an easy 15 minute walk away. There is a Budgens just across the road and a Tesco Express a 5 minute walk away. I very much enjoyed my stay.

Pleasantly surprised

I lived in the area but didn;t know this hotel existed. Excellent value for the location (though not near a tube). The room was spacious and clean, with climate control and the shower not cramped. Bed was fine too. Only negatives are the towels (a bit rough!) and the TV didn;t work as it is wi-fi and wouldn;t connect. Also no coffee available in the reception lounge workspace.

Tired Room and Smelly Bathroom

Not great. The room I was in was not in a good shape. The door was open when I arrived which made me uneasy, the walls are dirty, quite scuffed and in desperate need of a coat of paint, there was blood on the wall in the bathroom and the skirting boards are starting to turn mouldy. The lights flickered and it had no windows. and the bathroom smelled really bad like bad drains. The bed was clean and comfyish, but I did not sleep very well as there was so much noise in the hallway of people shouting and coughing and falling over which I could hear through the gap under the door. Final nail in the coffin was the fire alarm going off at 3 am ish (I am aware this is not the hotels fault, but still annoying). The staff were very pleasant and helpful however.

Oh the lies.

No running water. They said they had a leak and had to turn it off which they knew at check in but had me figure it out on my own when I went to shower. No internet like advertised. And to top it all of the elevator was turned off and I was on the second floor with load of heavy bags. Oh wait, one more thing, he wanted to charge me for my room, “ you have a remaining balance” he attempted in conning me. I showed him my receipt to which his response was oh okay nevermind. How many of you out there have paid a fake remaining balance?
Mattress, top sheet, blanket. Thats it. No mattress protection, or fitted sheet.

Det var överlag en bra vistelse med några minus. Bekvämt boende med bra läge för kollektivtrafik. Ganska oskön säng, dock ren och luktade rent. Men sänggavelns textil var fläckig, borde bytas då det säkert inte går att göra rent. Lite konstiga lukter i huset(narkotika i någon av granngästerna). Lyhört rum till rum, hörde allt grannarna sade. Ganska kallt i rummet(speciellt golvet), man bör se över donen till och frånluft, väldigt dammiga samt väggarna dammiga. Badrummet var bra och rymligt överlag, varmt golv där som vi värmde fötterna med. Toaletten ren. Duschen bra, men rätt rostig i kanterna. Man behöver jobba på städningen överlag, det är inte smutsigt men dammigt och något fläckigt. Mikron och andra köksredskap var ganska smutsiga, de använde vi inte alls. Kylen Ok. Tacksamma för nyårspresenten, gulliga människor på hotellet med leende på läpparna. Bästa av allt, en bibel i rummet. 6,5 av 10 en schysst bedömning.

Leider war unser Aufenthalt äußerst enttäu-schend. In unserem Zimmer funktionierte die Lüftung nicht, und auch die Heizung war defekt, sodass es so kalt war, dass wir gezwungen waren, in unseren Jacken zu schlafen. Zusätzlich waren die Kissen aufgrund der starken Feuchtigkeit im Raum schimmelig, und die Fenster waren dauerhaft beschlagen. Der Zustand des Zimmers war nicht nur unangenehm, sondern aus gesundheitlicher Sicht auch absolut inakzeptabel. Wir hatten unter diesen Umstanden ein Mindestmaß an Entgegenkommen oder eine Lösung erwartet, was jedoch nicht der Fall war. Diese Erfahrung war leider alles andere als zufriedenstellend.

Hotel is very run down in areas. The rooms have lots of paint scrapped off of the walls, flies in the room, walls paper thin, kids running up and down the corridor until late night, then after midnight. Overall not a great stay. Ideal for a cheap night away

Room was very drab. Shower only had one setting i.e. scolding hot. Asked for an iron but was told they have no ironing boards. Mattress was a joke. So soft that when lying on one side, the opposite end lifted up. Terrible! Wouldn't stay again

Cheap and cheerful

Overall it was good value for money. The shower needed a bit of maintenance as the hose was leaking which meant that most of the water was coming out via the leak rather than the shower head.

I jad to change the room 3 times, before I was given a room with a working TV. One of the rooms had a constant noise coming from behind the wall. The only positive was a lovely receptionist who was very helpful.
