"We stayed at the mint house in Denver. The location was great, however getting in and out of the building and figuring anything out when you get there is a THING. There is no front desk, no one to great you. No one to show you where parking is. It’s a giant pain to parallel park on a busy street, drag your suitcases throughout two coded doors, and then finally try and figure out the security features on the elevator. A grocery store (Natural Grocers) is accessible by foot (15-20 min walk), and so are a few coffee shops with wifi. I came for a concert that took place at the Mission Ballroom. I went there by foot too (20 min walk), and felt safe coming back alone (I am woman). "We absolutely loved the apartment - plenty of space for our family of 5, and super comfortable - but the parking is awful. Be prepared to walk 5 - 10 minutes, carrying your stuff and any kids too exhausted to walk themselves, no matter what weather. If you're not traveling with a car though, i absolutely recommend!"
