"Beautiful historical hotel where some rooms have been turned into small condo rentals. The name on the hotel is The Palms which was a bit confusing. Room was very well done as far as decorating, good bed, small table with 2 chairs and small kitchen. Our only problem was the parking which we didn’t understand until it was communicated the day before our stay. There is limited street parking from 5pm to 10am after which you have to move your car or be ticketed. There is a valet service unless it...

"It was my second trip and I was mostly satisfied. The property was beautiful and well maintained. The staff were prompt and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The pull out sofa was not as comfortable but did the job. Everything in the unit worked well. The laundry facilities were functional. The one thing that slightly soured my visit was some pretty significant peeling on the ceiling that looked like pieces of plaster were going to drop anytime. "This is my 3rd stay at this property, but it will likely be my last. The place is rather run down. I couldn't find check out instructions to save my life and messaged the property, but never heard back (new mgmt). We took out the trash and stripped the beds..hope that was enough. I've always loved the pool, but it wasn't working at full capacity. Most of the blinds in the place didn't work and the shower pressure was abysmal. The WD is great and free. "Weather was gorgeous for our 4 night stay. Property is nice overall, rooms are on the smaller side. Not a lot of space for storing items. Room was clean and maid service was given if asked. The food at the restaurant was surprisingly tasty and fresh. Service both on the beach and restaurant was excellent. Very close to Palm Beach shopping and excellent restaurants. Lovely quiet island! "

"Fabulous beachfront location. Great room with balcony. The hotel has been recently redone, and those parts look good. The pool was nice, but unfortunately, is not beachfront. There is a new gym that I thought was great. I think the service could be upgraded throughout the hotel, and hopefully they will work on that."
