"The room was modern, clean, quiet with all the amenities I could require. I didn’t need to sleep in, otherwise the lack of black out curtains may have been an issue and the option to use streaming services may have been nice, but not essential. It was an easy 8 minute walk to a lot of nice restaurants. Only a short walk to four mile beach. The staff were very friendly on arrival. No complaints from me. "

The apartment was clean, and we loved the swimming pool and convenience to the beach, and everywhere in Port Douglas. The staff were so helpful and friendly and full of many recommendations. "On the spur of the moment we booked our stay and were so happy with our choice. The Villa S M is located in the heart of Port Douglas with easy access to shops, dining etc. Staff were friendly and happy to answer our questions. Parking was located underneath building. There are 2 pools, but one was having paving work done. Room was clean & spacious and perfect for our short stay. "

"The place is great overall! It's quiet and within walking distance to the main street with all the restaurants and shops (15 mins max). The four mile beach is less than a 10-min walk which is nice. The marina where all the GBR boats leave from is about a 15-min walk which is again not bad. The room is clean and tidy and the kitchen is a nice addition. The pool was always empty when I stayed here. I'm usually picky with hotel bathrooms because it's very easy for mould to grow at the corners...

"I had a fabulous time at Regal, Port Douglas. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was exceptional.The only small feedback I would give would be that the spa was challenging to get in and out of as it was quite high and I'm very short so had to be careful.There's also a gap in between where the blinds meet so was a bit self concious that other guests would be able to see me taking a shower but other than that I wouldn't hesitate in coming back to Regal, Port Douglas."
