"We spent 2 nights at the Edgecumb Arms for a family reunion. The room was superb, with great views over the Tamar. It was very well appointed. The English breakfast was delicious and copious and the staff was extremely attentive and welcoming. Bonus point - we were able to able to bring our dog. Amazing walks in the Edgecumb park which is one minute away or alongside the river Tamara. This was our second stay and will happily stay again in the future. "

"The apartment is a home from home and has everything you’d need! We were two small families so a house shower room would have been good rather than having to go in to one of the other bedrooms for a shower etc not a massive deal if your one family and there is an extra toilet! Comfortable beds, great location although did get a little noisy at times! "

"The apartment was very nice, and in a great location. Everything you could require for your stay is provided. I really enjoyed my time there. I was there for business, it worked really well for me, the internet was fast space to work separate from the bedroom. I could also have colleges round to chat/work if required. This apartment would also be perfect for a family with the 2 bedrooms and nice size open plan living room and kitchen/diner."

"Ideal single room with ensuite ,desk and TV - clean and tidy, warm and comfortable bed - perfect, just what I needed for the one night. Was greeted on arrival and also when i left. One minor downside the blinds arent black out ones unless I didnt see a curtain I could pull across."

"Great hotel in a great location with amazing views. Unfortunately the windows are so dirty I couldn’t see out very well at the amazing views. The windows also create noise when windy. I was staying on the 10th floor. Unfortunately you are under the kitchens for breakfast and the restaurant so early morning and until the restaurant shuts in the evening you get a lot of noise on the hard floor above, luckily I had earplugs. Air conditioning /heating in my room didn’t really do anything apart from...

"Bed wasnt great but thats quite a personal thing for an individual. Staff were brillant and friensly (even at 11.30pm) would probably stay again."

"Great location on The Hoe and fantastic to be able to park right outside. The studio is pleasant enough but feels soulless. There was no rug on the floor and it seems spartan. I moved the sofa a little which helped. Bathroom tiny but manageable. They expect you to take your own rubbish out around the corner and do your washing up. Makes me think I am reliant on the previous guests’ rinsing of cups. Bed linen and towels were good quality. Leaving tea and coffee and fresh milk in the fridge...
