"The hotel was amazing. The staff was friendly and accommodating. it was a plus that they are pet friendly. The ambience when you walked in was very welcoming. From the Twinkling lights outside and the Cozy fire pit, I am definitely coming back and would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"I liked the location in downtown Clayton. The view was beautiful. When I arrived, no one was at the front desk. When I came back by, the receptionist said she was sick when she handed us the key packet. The room hallways were so industrial-like, you could hear every door closing loudly. Also, another mirror and an overhead light in the room would be nice additions. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Outpost Inn. It felt like a rustic mountain lodge. The inn was actually redecorated when bought by the current owners. It was clean and the people working there were helpful. They had added some outdoor seating areas and a fire pit which is great for when the weather is nice. The price is good for the area. It was very close to the main street area with shops and restaurants. We'd stay there again as long as the price stays reasonable."
