"This stay at the salamander was a little less than my expectations. The one thing that made things better were the managers, they were on top of everything. Although there were some things subpar the managers professionalism and troubleshooting for resolutions made it almost effortless. I would like to say thank you to Joe, the housekeeping manager, he was very kind and understanding. The restaurant was good. The location was excellent a 10 minute walk to the wharf. Close to the monuments....

"Great hotel came down for a friends birthday party and ate nearby and walked the wharf for a wonderful time the hotel was gorgeous and comfortable and right in the water - I will be back. Traffic and getting into the parking garage was a little crazy but once we were in all is well."

"Impeccable customer service. Beautiful property and views of the Potomac River from the room. The hotel is on restaurant row. I recommend walking the wharf just outside the hotel. Also many major sights of interest in DC are nearby this hotel. We will cherish these memories. "
