The room wasn’t what I looked at online . The where fully booked although I had my reservation booked several months in advance , just wasn’t happy walking up several sets up a small staircase with two bags and across the street from hotel in adjacent building . Wasn’t the experience I was having in mind.

I stayed for 2 nights. My check in staff is very nice. The only problem I had was the bathroom fan and light. The fan cover dropped and the light turned off by itself a few times during my stay. The first time when the light turned self off，I was scared. Then this became Inconvenient.

The location is great for being in the French quarter but far enough away from all of the chaos. The property is a small older hotel that looks like they created a bunch of separate rooms. The room we had was named after Fats Domino. We went to party on bourbon so didn't spend much time in the room. The room has multiple lights that didn't work, the toilet wouldn't flush well, the tv remote never worked, the outlet behind the bed side table didn't work so we moved the furniture to have a working outlet for our phones. Room service did a nice job with cleaning the room. We requested them to fix these issues but none of it was corrected.

The property was conveniently located. The room was small no chair, water pressure was non existent, room was drafty as the balcony door had a 1/2 inch gap between them and would not properly lock. No place to put luggage. Did not keep hot water for complimentary tea available all day. Iced water was not kept available. Had to go out to courtyard and in a hall for ice. Just not a good experience it was not a place you wanted to spend anytime except to sleep and shower.

I had a wonderful experience here! The staff were so kind, property was quiet, and my room was clean. I enjoyed reading about the history on the website while I tried to find which historic room I was in and also getting some research in about the musician on my door! Was an easy walk to Bourbon St and the river walk. Would stay here again!

We absolutely loved the staff and the antique culture of the room. We had a fountain running outside our door that made sleeping fabulous. We will definitely stay here again!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this stay would be disappointing. The showerhead was broken, spraying water everywhere, which left almost no water pressure for a proper shower. On top of that, the drain was clogged, causing water to pool instantly. To make matters worse, the shower itself was barely the size of half a closet. We went to the front desk to request a different room, only to be told the hotel was at full capacity. They assured us that maintenance would come to fix the issue, but no one ever showed up. Over the next few days, we noticed more issues—makeup stains on the pillows, and what appeared to be bodily fluids or food stains on the bedsheets, comforter, and even the walls. Once again, we reported it, and once again, nothing was done. The rooms are incredibly small, and the bed was old and creaky, making noise with every movement. We had booked a queen-size bed but were given a full-size instead. The coffee provided in the morning was so weak it was practically just water. One morning, we were rudely woken up at 7 AM by someone using a leaf blower right outside our door. Usually, leaving vacation is the saddest part of a trip, but in this case, we couldn’t wait to get out of there. Don’t be fooled by the pictures—this place is nothing like they make it seem.

We went to visit New Orleans for 3rd time, this one we booked in a different hotel. We booked it on December 15 to stay between January 31 and February 3. The booking was for 2 rooms with Queen beds, after a lot of back and forth they found the reservation. One couple end up in the main building with not hot water to shower in the morning. Us in a room with cracks in the ceiling, mold in the shower, twin bed instead of Queen and people screaming for over one hour in the stairs next to us. One room with no covers in the bed, the other one no hair blower (we requested one and they never brought it). We ended up in a different room after complaining to them and Expedia. First and last time in this hotel for sure.

The property is unkept overall. The room floor was dirty, and everywhere we look, there was something that don't work. For e temple, the electric tric plugs are all worn out and unsafe. AC/heat does not work properly. The air exist are dirty and rasted. There are too many things that are not as should be in a hotel...

While I understand the hotel is old and can forgive cracks and creaks. The state of the linens and towels was unacceptable. There is dust everywhere. The room I stayed in had the window shutters bolted shut, so absolutely no natural lighting was let in. There was no safe as advertised in the listing. Lastly, again I understand it’s an old building, but you can hear absolutely everything from the pool gurgling every 5 minutes to the maintenance men at 5 AM. Would not stay again.
