"After reading some of the reviews we were skeptical about staying here but we decided to give it a try and we’re glad we did. All the ladies working was very helpful no matter what we needed. Very friendly service. The breakfast was very sufficient. Room was clean and smelled clean. The only 2 negatives as far as we would say is maybe try to update and get rid of the carpet in the rooms and UPDATE the mattress. It was very old and hard as a rock but those 2 things have nothing to do with...

"This property should not be open at all. No towels or toilet paper in the bathroom. The electrical in the room was a hazard. Bathtub had dirt in it, floor was dirty. The TV was in black and white with no sound. It was so bad that it should not be on Hotels.com booking, we expect a certain product standard from this website. And at $89.00 a night, which is deceiving, and no one to dispute with or to get a refund from."

"I didn't stay. When I arrived at the hotel, at 11:00 pm, they had no clean rooms available and told me that it would be at least 40 minutes to have one cleaned. I attempted to cancel the reservation through Hotels.com, but they said I had to do it at the hotel, which cost me additional time. The hotel said they wouldn't charge me. Still waiting to see if they tried."

"Rude customer service. Tv was messed up and called front desk, he said to watch the 2 channels or nothing. Channels were partial porn and QVC. He refused th o come check it out or replace tv. Room wasn't great, partial clean, noisy, bed hard. Sheets keep coming off bed cause bottom sheet was a flat sheet. Won't stay there again."

Asked him permission to do a couple things with some buddies before going to the wedding and felt right at home. the cabin at Holt is a one of a kind property and I'm glad I stumbled upon this diamond in the rough!"
