"We stayed for 2 nights in this wonderful apartment. It has the perfect location in a nice, quiet residential area that is walking distance to shops/dining and only a few steps to the beach! "We have been following the instagram for a few months before we arrived to SA and were completely sold by the concept. Arriving to Barringtons was we were definitely not let down. We were checked in and taken to our deluxe room with a patio balcony looking down over the garden. The room was spacious, clean, and luxurious. We ate a late lunch at the bar with a few beers by the fire and returned later for some supper and a night cap. Wonderful place!"

"Das war bisher meine teuerste Unterkunft in Südafrika für einen mittelmäßigen Aufenthalt. Leider hatten die einen Wasserschaden, also war die Dachterrasse nicht nutzbar. Morgens öffnete ich den Vorhang und der Bauarbeiter stand mir gegenüber. Das hat die auch nicht weiter gestört, dass ein Gast da war. Das hat den ganzen Aufenthalt vermiest. Ich kann nur abraten, zu teuer und man hat immer ein ganz beklemmendes Gefühl. "

"I was travelling with my colleague on a work related visit to a family in Plett. We travelled 800km to Plett, only to be told by the lodge that our bookings were cancelled the morning of the check-in day. As to why the booking was cancelled, we were told that it is because my card payment was declined. This was nonsense as this payment was made more than a month before the check-in day and there was not such communication. I even checked with my bank and my money was still out of my bank...

"In general the hotel is very run down. Things falling apart and dysfunctional, including pool area and umbrellas and gardens. The resort is in desperate need of serious maintenance. Also, no wi fi in rooms for a 4 star hotel is not really acceptable.
