"Sea Ranch Resort was great value for the cost. We basically had our own apartment and could come and go as we please. The staff was super kind and available. There is a great restaurant on the premises if you’re too tired to go out after a long day at the beach.Try to get an ocean view if you can. It’s worth it! The washers and dryers in the units work great! The property is mildly run down, but again, we had everything we needed, and if there are issues, the staff is extremely friendly and responsive. I do wish they had smart TV capability instead of DIRECTV, but it was a minor annoyance. Because of this little resort, we were able to have a fantastic vacation we could afford. "This property worked very well for our April trip to the Outer Banks. The main selling points were: (1) Great accommodation for two adults and two teens. We had a unit with a living/dining area and kitchen, a master bedroom, and a separate loft room up a flight of steps, which gave the teens their own space. (2) There’s an indoor pool that we wanted in case the weather didn’t turn out to be good during our stay. The property isn’t on the beach, but a few mins drive will take you to the hotel’s own parking lot which is very close to the beach. The parking lot was usually empty when we went - it may be very busy in peak summer thought. There isn’t a restaurant onsite, which at first I thought was odd, but then realized that you don’t really need it with all the options nearby. Overall, this was a great base for our trip. The weather turned out to be excellent, but we still enjoyed using the pool and hot tub in the evenings. "
