"The stay was super amazing from the get go. The hotel staff being the limelight, from when we entered the hotel till we exited, they were nothing less than fantastic, polite, efficient and courteous. In terms of the property itself, really amazing rooms, you can book your own private onsen, dinner and breakfast are included and they were very adjusting of our dietary restrictions (including vegetarian). We didn't even notice how the day went by and our stay finished. I will highly recommend it...

"Beautiful hotel, but it was a bit of a walk from the bus station if you’re going into Hakone. Be sure to call the hotel to have a shuttle pick you up from the nearest shuttle stop, which is down the hill from the property. "It is placed in a quiet neighborhood which was nice, but a little far from convenience stores etc. I went by car, so there was no problem, they got Parking outside which was free. Everything was pretty good, staff was friendly, not a lot of guests which was nice, and the garden inside was insta worthy. Only thing was the shared bathroom, guess we can't do anything about that."
