**PLEASE BE AWARE** This property is undergoing extensive construction. There is no entrance, you must go around to a side door. The whole first floor is completely unusable as are the facilities such as pool, spa, restaurants. The room we were first given had a fireplace (which I paid extra for) but no pullout couch. Our second room had no fireplace, but a pullout couch. I did not want to try for a 3rd room so settled for that. The room is beautiful, however there were strong odors of chemicals. We were not provided towels, so I had to go downstairs to ask for some, at which time I was told by front desk person that she would have to wash and dry some for me and wouldn't be ready for a while. When I went back to our room I noticed the door was not properly latched, and then realized the door was unable to close or lock properly, so besides the security latch, anyone could open our door. We then setup the pullout couch and there were no linen, so I had to go back down to get those as well. In the morning, my younger daughter woke up with a rash which still remains. Whether this was due to the linen provided, the chemical odors or something in the environment, we do not know. I don't doubt that this property will be beautiful when it is completed, however, I do not think they are ready to be hosting people while it is undergoing these extensive renovations, especially at a higher price point than other hotels surrounding them.

Under major construction which we knew off. What we didn’t know is that they don’t stop until asked! I asked them to stop quarter to 11pm since my kids could not sleep due to the noise.

The room itself was very nice… however the hotel is very actively under construction, which I wish I was made aware of before booking. The front desk was tucked around a corner, and was in a room which was cordoned off by plastic sheets. To get to the elevator you need to go through the dusty lobby full of construction equipment. The elevator was lined with cardboard, and the hallway of our floor was covered with dusty footprints. Not the 4 star hotel I was lead to believe.

For being under construction, they did a great job handling travelers. We were directed to the new front desk, had easy access to the elevator and had a beautiful newly remodeled room on the top floor.

we stayed 2 nights...hotel under total renovation....no lobby...had to use back door...no phone in room..no cafe/coffee shop...no ice or soda machine.Minimal guests...4 on one night...and 3 the other night.There were no ameneties....lots of construction workers inside and outside.Im asking for a refund ...because ..this hotel should never have been rented because of the condition it was in.....your attention to my request for refund is appreciated....thank you ..Pat

We didn’t stay because when we arrived the entire hotel was under construction. Even the elevator. They couldn’t find a room that wasn’t under construction so we stayed somewhere else.

This was our worst stay ever in Paso Robles. We go every couple months and this was by far the worst stay ever. The construction, dust, noise and everything being closed was just too much.

The entire hotel was under construction. We had no hot water. There were staples on our floor from them having just laid carpet (clearly no one vacuumed). Bathroom door didn’t close or lock. None of their amenities were available. It was dirty and dusty everywhere from the construction. Parking was difficult with all of the construction stuff in the lots. The River Lodge next door looked fantastic though. Got to see it out my window and wow what a great place. Will be booking there instead next time.

This place should not even be open. It’s our fault for not reading the reviews. Massive construction, with no amenities. Couldn’t use the in room spa, because the faucet was torn off. No soap at the sink. Looks like someone else solved this by ripping the body wash container.off the wall in the shower. For the price we could do much better. Fortunately we only stayed one night. Any longer and we would have gone elsewhere. Our room view was of a front end loader. And to cap things off, someone was running up and down the hallway above us all night. Horrible experience.

This hotel is under construction. It should be temporarily shut down. We had to wait to use the elevators so the construction crew could move their tools around. We had to squeeze between furniture and cut ourselves on sharp edges.

Hotel is undergoing significant remodel. Dining is closed. Lobby is closed with temp set up Front desk staff was excellent and directed us to River Lodge for dinner (walking) and Joes in Paso for breakfast. When upgraded and construction done will be a nice place to stay VIP came with nice bottle of wine and snacks
