"Greatocation for access to all areas of Yellowstone. Room was spacious,.comfortable and the little fridge was handy. Coin operated laundry nearby too. Staff were friendly and helpful, had to wait to check-in due to being very busy, but all went smoothly."

"Great spot walkable to the base area. Love that the bus comes right in front too. Unfortunately, they’ve changed their parking policies and the front desk staff was rude about it. Usually you can park there for the day before you check in but that’s no longer the case. Also, the hot tub jets were broken. "

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for the night, and we absolutely loved it. The one hiccup we had, not against the owners, is that the address on Expedia was incorrect. It took us to a totally different lodge, and we had to look up the lodge ourselves. Luckily, it wasn’t too far from where we were at. When we got to the lodge, it was super easy to check in. "The Ponderosa was amazing. We enjoyed the hot tub and the privacy. The room was clean and cozy. The fireplace was wonderful. The host was very friendly and helpful. The cookies were a pleasant surprise. The drive to town was easy and also to the Rocky Mountain National Park. We loved this place and hope to return soon."

"Heard lots of bad things about the property, I did not experience any of the bad. The stay was about average, nothing stood out as " wow/amazing" stay. I would recommend, but I would probably stay elsewhere next time. The staff was friendly and not overbearing, although I did call a few weeks in advance of my trip and spoke to front desk employee, who told me each room coming with "free" parking, that's not at all true, parking is $30 a day. "

"We booked a premium suite for six peoples, 2 queens and a queen futon sofa bed. Compact little cabin is good for a night. The location is 1.5 miles away to the main check in suites, dining and ski park. The staffs are friendly. However I found no tissue paper in the bathroom, no extra blanket and pillows for the futon beds. The bed mattress not bad but the frame is wobbling.
