"Very nice Room was very warming Felt like home Hallways smelled really welcoming. Smelt like home idk how to put it. Warm vanilla Anyways parking was great Very welcoming definitely will come back. Decent price for amount of people. Only thing was the pool was down for maintenance. Upside was 1 min down the road at the other resort they had a pool and was allowed there due to maintenance. Sucks had to leave hotel to go do but better than not swimming at all. One reason I got this hotel. "

"Nice room & shower, Great check in staff & good food at Timberlake. Need to work on keeping towels stocked in pool area & staff being available in pool area. Need alot more safety cones & rugs for doorways due to ice & snow conditions. We slid down the hill going to condos. Resort needs to implement some barriers around the lake and bottom of hills to stop a vehicle from going in the lake. Also, resort needs to salt & plow alot more, even in the evenings. "We had a delightful stay at the Boxwood. Our room actually had a living area with large wrap around couch and a small table with 4 chairs in addition to a separate bedding with 2Q beds. Harden was very helpful at the front desk. We walked to our restaurants and through town. "

"we were at this motel during a freezing cold snap in NoCarolina; it would have been nice to have a fireplace but the heat in the room was OK. the location of this motel is excellent with walking distance to town (in a warmer time of year). Coffee and fridge in the room were much appreciated"

"The Embers is absolutely beautiful - well designed and clean, smells amazing and the rooms were better than expected and very well appointed. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and even called before we arrived to let us know our room was upgraded due to discrepancies between the booking site I used and the rooms available. This when I didn't even realize there was a problem! Parking was easy and the hotel felt accessible yet secure. The location is excellent, within walking distance...

"It's a beautiful property; it's old school motor lodge style with drive up/park and your door is right there to the outside. This is not a problem but just more FYI if you are booking. Room is cozy and not large but very comfy, a touch dated but again that's more FYI if you are needing that kind of room. 10/10 would recommend. The staff was so nice, very informative and helpful. "
