"The property was under renovation during our stay. The staff was accommodating and quick to help with any issues that arose. The location was great for us as you could walk to the restaurant and pubs in the immediate vicinity. The greater San Diego area was a five minute drive. The Harbor Pub was a great spot for brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The Hash House a go go is a great breakfast spot on 5th and is a five minute drive. "

"It was disappointing to learn upon check-in that the pool was closed and internet was unavailable. Both were advertised in the hotel’s information. Advanced notice would have been respectful and allowed us to assess our options. A discount should have been offered. Breakfast was very basic. Rooms were clean, the bed comfortable and the location was good."

"This is an old motel. However, the owners have made it super clean and comfortable. They have a nice product line in the bathroom, a comfy bed, and soft cotton sheets. I have been booking a room instead of using Lyft/Uber after a night out and 45 minutes from home. This is a great find for a reasonably priced (under the round-trip Lyft price) motel. The staff at night and then in the morning is friendly and very service-oriented."
