"My wife and I had a WONDERFUL time celebrating our 41 anniversary (Dec 30, 2024) and we LOVED staying at the Bluff Shoal Motel!! We GREATLY ENJOYED 5 days and 4 nights of peace and relaxation! The motel manager, Sissy, was EXCEPTIONALLY kind and helpful!! We understood that late December is NOT the tourist season and many stores and restaurants were closed. But just the right number were open for us to find exactly what were looking for! THANK YOU SISSY and THANK YOU OCRACOKE for our WONDERFUL visit!! We are VERY GRATEFUL! See you again, God willing! "Very clean, beautiful rooms. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again! Only downside was no microwave in the rooms, you have to walk to the main building to heat up any leftovers. You can self park but the parking lot is a little far from the hotel in my opinion. You’re better off paying the $15 valet each day, so budget that in. The valet was very fast though and everyone was nice!"

"Booked last minute and easily found keys for my room. Extremely clean, beds are comfortable. Great location with nice view of the harbor. Nice to wake up to the sound of the ferries leaving the harbor. Off season rates are very reasonable for the stay."

"Great get away! Traveled here on the off season and had a great view from our room. Hotel is convenient to restaurants and shopping. Enjoyed having a kitchenette so we could relax on the balcony and watch the sunset. "
