"This is an old property with a lot of potential. The rooms are lovely but run-down. There were a lot of things broken in the room and stuff that needed updating. The pool was in rough shape as was the rest of the outside. Food on-site was excellent, staff were good for the most part. "Very new Hotel. I booked the executive studio, so the room was big and plenty comfortable. It's connected to the Grand Batam mall just next door and I don't need to walk outside to access the mall, which is very convenient. The only bad thing was that noise isolation from outside is poor. "We arrive early from the ferry and no one was speaking English in our tower. Rafa was receptionist in tower 1 and was Amazing helping us move in. She explain the deposit issue and the wait for our move in. She found us a guide Lonbam and made our trip excellent. Later on akbar in tower 2 was also helpful and spoke great english"

"First time at tis location. I will def stay here again next trip. It is so near to the ferry terminal, indeed walking distance a few minutes away. Room is clean and nice. Instructions were simple and clear. At ground level, there is a 24hr mini mart. Can also enjoy the cooling sea breeze. Awesome stay thank u!"

"Bathroom ( 2) very bad, old and need renovation. No kitchen tools since this one was an apartment with kitchen, if you make food you need to yse your hand. Furniture, sofa, old and in very bad condition. Not recomanded"

"The room was filthy. The toilet reeked of urine and there was a heavy build up of gunk all around the toilet bowl and shower area. The sheets were stained and smelled like they were sprayed over with a fabric freshener. Used towels in wardrobe and ‘fresh’ towels had a damp smell. Utterly disappointing. "

"Food was ok but the appetisers for the western food is not good. We ordered mesclun salad but what we got was a salad with Romaine lettuce, it's supposed to be a mix of different greens, the french onion soup tasted weird, the onions were not soft or caramelized and did not have the cheese on top of the soup. The steak and lamb chops were good. Overall the hotel is nice but need to improve on the western menu. The breakfast buffet was also good."

"Three generations stayed at the Hotel Indigo for a week and we had a fabulous time. The hotel is spotless and beautifully designed. We had a fabulous round bath in the window with great views over the beach. The food was excellent, so much so that we didn’t leave the hotel all week. It is situated on a site with a Holiday Inn and you can use all their facilities as well including a really good children’s play area. There are two pools plus a children’s pool so ideal for families. "
