"Big island retreat is located in a super quiet and beautiful area near the shore. Our guest room (orchid) was clean and spacious with a partial sea view, and our check in was very convenient. Two minor downsides: 1) there was no shampoo and bodywash in the room, but the onwer immediately brought a shampoo as we messaged her. 2) Utensils in the dining area were not very clean and there was still tea stains on the cups. "This place is a gem. It’s not too far from Kona Airport. We stayed in the Japanese tea room which is a very unique stay. It’s a very comfortable spacious room that has a very comfortable queen bed, nice t.v. With Amazon Prime, YouTube and other options for viewing entertainment, a BIG bathtub and a separate shower in the beautiful bathroom. The awesome part of this place though is Dave and his wife Miriam! They let you use basically all the amenities their property has to offer from the nice...

"I in the place where I don’t feel like I am a tourist but living among locals yes it not what many hotels will offer but you are one with the natural and the real beauty of Hawaii, taking a shower in the open bathroom is the best thing I experienced and yes it has a privacy and comfort of of taking a bath with out worrying anything just enjoy the view of Hawaii 360 degrees "
