On Hotels.com, property is listing as “Non-smoking property” (in the Accessibility section). Rooms are non-smoking, yes, but patios and grounds are smoking-allowed. Patio tables have ashtrays set out for use. Such a beautiful area, we often wanted the sliding door and windows open, but had to quickly close up time and again if we didn’t want smoke inside. "The view to die for. all day sun. The apartment layout. Massive outdoor area, with spa, outdoor furniture, BBQ. Kitchen well equipped.lots of power points. Easy walk into shops, restaurants, ferry. beach across the road. Comfortable beds and fans in each bedrooms. Dislikes, l lack of parking on site, only one car park for a 3 Bedroom apartment. But did let one car park in staff parking. Tight parking area. Only legal parking down the road. Lack of water pressure in showers. Overall we did...

"Comfortable room (ambience 'slightly dated/well used'), containing kitchenette and all the gadgets we wanted. The wooden upstairs walkway to our room seemed slightly shaky but in reality wasn't a problem. The location is excellent, at the heart of the town and close to the ferry pier."

"We loved our stay here so much!! Place is in excellent condition and hosts are great with communication. The breakfast included is incredibly thoughtful and was very handy for us. Place is great and clean, with a gorgeous view out the back. Tidy facilities; with supplies such as cooking utensils bathroom all provided thoughtfully. We would most definitely come back! "Wonderful place to stay, with extra touches to make our stay special. Accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space, with a balcony offering beautiful views over Bay of Islands. Excellent location for getting to quay fir boat and ferry trips and within walking distance of Waitangi Treaty Grounds. (Although the steep walk back up hill after a day out is quite tough...but view was worth it). "

"Really enjoyed our stay here. The property is simple and clean. Lots of rooms but it didn't feel too busy. Pool and lawn games were a nice way to spend the afternoon. It's a little bit of a walk to the majority of the restaurants, but easily doable. There is also an onsite restaurant (we didn't try it but there were quite a few people there). "
