"The Vendue is a beautiful property, and the staff is amazing. It is also in a great location in the center of Historic Charleston. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The rooms (at the Enclave side of the hotel, where we stayed) have a very attractive decor and are spacious and well-equipped (although they do not have mini-fridges). "Room had a fantastic view but is in need pf basic cosmetic updates. Room with 1 queen is very small and bathroom was impossibility small (4x5), with a minuscule toilet and vanity. The lobby is beautiful and classy, which is why we chose the hotel. Too bad the coffee only comes in paper cups. "

"Great hotel! Location is perfect, property is beautiful. My only complaint is that when we checked in, we were given our keys and when we walked in our room - someone else's things were already in there. We were given another room and many apologies which is great, mistakes happen but the security issue that this causes concerns me and we are women traveling alone. "
