"The hallway smelled like people cooking . The building I was in seemed to of had “long term “ guests staying . The trash cans by the outside door was not emptied the 3 days I was there. Upon check in the lobby was very dark and gloomy . Definitely was not inviting . I asked for daily housekeeping and did not receive any . I asked the housekeeping staff about it and they acted like English was not a language . They stared at me like deer with headlights . I realize this property is value priced...

"Haven’t stayed in a motel in awhile.. forgot how convenient it was! The carriage house was great! The only negative was that there was a long wait at the Speckled Hen for even take out. On our 2nd day I gave the voucher to a family waiting in the long line. The take out food was very good the first day though. All in all it was a great stay.. Will be back!!"

"Unfortunately the staff was not helpful. The only one person available left early and told us they just ran out of supplies, conditioner, coffee etc. They had no bath towels ( basically hand towels ) and no drinking water even for purchase. For the price paid on a wkend we were very unsatisfied."

"For those who are planning to stay in Hersey farm resort, DO NOT EVER BOOK THE FARM HOUSE ROOM TYPE!!! It’s so horrible that there’s lots of flys, tiny bugs and misquotes everywhere and the smells from the barn farm."
