"I stayed at the Red Caboose motel as a child. 40 years later, it is still a really neat and unusual place to stay. A lot of remodeling has been done on the cabooses in that time, but the amenities are great. Staff was very attentive and friendly -- you know, the kind of staff that enjoys their job and make it show every time. Our caboose had four bunks, a double bed, TV, A/C, electric baseboard heat, a hot shower, nice bathroom sink, fridge/freezer, microwave. We enjoyed our stay and look...

"In our room the toilet paper holder was broken. The corner of the mirror in the bathroom was falling apart. There was Tape on the smoke detector. Scuff mark on the wall and closet doors and inside the closet. Bottom of the pool was falling apart. The breakfast was good and beds were comfortable. The things I mentioned in the room were present when we checked in it was not our doing."

"It is off the beaten path. Beautiful view of the sunset!!! Very personal. It was nice to have a human being to greet you at the office. I don't care for properties where there is no one there to greet you and they just leave you a code to get into your room. If I am staying at someone's home or bed and breakfast that is a totally different story. I think maybe they have new owners. None the less, we were very happy with our stay."

"The Country Living Inn was conveniently located to restaurants, and our places of interest. The place was extremely clean and well appointed. The lobby was homey with decorations and nice furniture, coffee too! Staff were friendly and helpful 🙂"
